A teenage boy has been charged with murder in connection with an incident in Wigan last week.

Police were called to Samuel Street in Atherton at around 6pm on Friday (November 17) to reports of an unconscious man at a property. When cops arrived, they found a 49-year-old man with a serious injury.

Tragically, he passed away a short time later. He was later identified as Paul Marsh.

Now, a 16-year-old boy — who cannot be named for legal reasons — has been charged with his murder. He has been remanded in custody, and is set to appear at Manchester Youth Court tomorrow (Wednesday, November 22).
