Jake Paul has announced his next fight date in the boxing world amid his rivalry with Tommy Fury - but there is no rematch scheduled between himself and the Mancunian.

The pair met back in February with Fury landing a split decision win over his American counterpart after eight rounds, despite Paul knocking the then-23-year-old to the canvas after a slip. It marked Fury's ninth win in a row, whilst also marking Paul's first ever defeat - and the brother of world champion Tyson recently added to his list with a win over YouTuber KSI to make it 10 undefeated fights.

Paul, meanwhile, beat former UFC star Nate Diaz in his most recent fight after a unanimous decision went his way in August - but he’s ready to add to his list of wins against Andre August to dispel any rumours of a potential fight against Fury in a rematch.

Paul’s next fight will be against fellow professional boxer August, on Friday December 15 in Orlando, Florida. Another eight-round fight for Paul will see him headline the event names ‘Most Valuable Prospects IV’ against August, who has a respectable record himself.

The American, from Houston, Texas, has a record of 12 fights, with 10 wins, one draw and one loss - though half of his wins have come by knockout, which will be the most Paul has ever faced in his career opponent-wise.

Paul said of the fight: “I’m a professional boxer and I want to be world champion, so I need to pursue the path towards greatness against people who have been boxing their whole life.

“So far, my entire boxing career has been on pay-per-view, but now it’s about more than business. Now I want to build my experience in the ring against seasoned fighters. I’m coming to prove my greatness on Friday, December 15th live on DAZN for the world to see.”
