Salford-born comedian Jason Manford is heading out on the road again as part of a huge stand-up show which will see him headline Manchester’s newest arena, Co-op Live.

Jason is the first non-music act to be announced as a performer at the venue, which will be opening in April 2024. He will bring his latest show ‘A Manford All Seasons’ to the arena, located next to Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium, in October 2025.

The Manchester date will be Jason’s final show of the tour, which is set to take place across the country. Jason’s last show, ‘Like Me’, saw him perform 280 shows across the country.

The comedian, who is known for his appearances on shows like 8 Out of 10 Cats and Starstruck as well as his West End performances in Guys and Dolls, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Sweeney Todd, will perform at Co-op Live on October 24, 2025 - with tickets on sale this week via Ticketmaster.

Speaking about the show, Jason said: “People ask me what my favourite job is, acting, presenting, musicals etc. I love them all, but my favourite is still the privilege of doing a stand-up comedy. It’s just me, you, a microphone and a cracking venue. No cameras, no director, no viewing figures and no OFCOM!

“I can’t wait to see you again and have a good laugh at this mad world, it feels like it’s been ages.”

Gary Roden, Executive Director and General Manager, Co-op Live, added: “Being able to attract acts of the calibre of Jason Manford is exactly what we are all about and we are so excited that he is the first comedy act we have announced.

“Although Co-op Live has been built as a music-first venue, its versatility and intimacy bely its size making it perfect for stand-up comedy. Co-op Live is here to deliver unforgettable experiences to our audiences, and Jason’s show is going to do just that. The fact that he is also a local lad is the icing on the cake.”

Jason will also be performing in the Opera House’s Jack and the Beanstalk pantomime this christmas - alongside Myra DuBois, Emma Williams and Ben Nickless.

Tickets for Jason’s gig at Co-Op Live will go on sale via Ticketmaster from 10am on Friday (October 13). Co-op Members Co-op get first in line access to tickets from 10am on Wednesday (October 11). You can download the Co-op App and become a member now to access the presale.
