Comedian Michael McIntyre has confirmed he will be performing in Manchester as part of his huge new world tour.

The TV funnyman, who regularly has fans in hysterics on his BBC Saturday Night show Michael McIntyre's Big Show, will be starting the UK leg of his tour, Macnificent, in Bristol this September, before stopping off at Manchester's AO Arena on Friday, March 22 and Saturday, March 23, 2024.

Tickets will go on general release sale on Friday, February 17 at 10am, but there is also pre-sale for Artist and Three Telefonica, O2 Telefonica and OVO customers that will be available from 10am on Wednesday, February 15 and Ticketmaster, as well as individual venues on Thursday, February 16 at 10am. As well as dates in Manchester, Michael will take to stage in London, Bristol, Liverpool, Cardiff, Birmingham, and many more UK cities, as well as international stop offs in New York, Norway, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. The comedian last toured the UK from 2017 to 2019, with his Michael McIntyre's Big World Tour, while his 2012 tour was seen by 700,000, earning him the title of biggest-grossing comedian in the world at the time.

Currently, his BBC One show airs on Saturday nights and leaves fans in stitches thanks to his hilarious sketches with celebrities including Lewis Capaldi, Alison Hammond, and Peter Crouch, the latter appearing on his regular Midnight Game Show segment. He is also known for the game show, The Wheel also shown on BBC, which he also hosts a US version of on NBC.

The funnyman shot to fame following an appearance at The Royal Variety Performance in 2006 and has since gone on to appear on shows such as Britain's Got Talent, Mock The Week and Live at the Apollo.
