Two men have been charged after an Audi and two Range Rovers were allegedly stolen in Stockport. Cody Lowndes, of Clough End Road, Hyde, Tameside, has been charged with burglary of a dwelling and theft of a motor vehicle - an Audi A7 - from a property in Woodley in October 16.

The 25-year-old has been remanded into custody. Ian Cunningham, 44, of Rydal Avenue, Hyde, Tameside, has also been charged with the theft of two motor vehicles - both Range Rovers - from two addresses in Stockport in October.

He has also been remanded into custody. Both men are set to appear at Minshull Street Crown Court on December 20.

Sergeant Kevin Martinelli, of Stockport Neighbourhood Crime Team said: "Tackling burglary remains a force priority for Greater Manchester Police and I would encourage victims to report the matter to police as soon as possible. We remain committed to supporting victims and holding to account those who take property that does not belong to them."
